OUR FIRST REHEARSAL

We are looking forward to meeting you all and playing some music!

When and where
Our first rehearsal is 6.30pm Tuesday September 22. Rehearsals will then be 6.30pm every second Tuesday until early December, then restarting in February. Please be ready for the downbeat at 6.30 - so arrive in plenty of time to set up.

All rehearsals will be at the Addison Road Community Centre in Marrickville. Email us for access to the online music library

You will need to bring your own copies of the music to rehearsal (either printed or downloaded on a tablet) as we will be unable to provide printed copies on the day.

For the first rehearsal we will aim to go through these pieces, so please don’t think you need to know all the music for the first rehearsal:
Hungarian Dances; O Mio Babbino Caro from Two Puccini Arias; Gavotte from Holberg Suite; and Blue Tango.

If you have any questions about the music, or what part to play, please email and include “attention MD” in the subject line.

Fees
We are still figuring out finances and will send out information about membership fees as soon as possible. In the meantime, for the first rehearsal we are asking for a donation. This can be paid in cash or PayID on the day.

What to bring
• Your instrument
• Printed sheet music or sheet music downloaded onto tablet
• A music stand
• A pencil for marking up your music

Let's come together, play some music and make an orchestra! If you have any other questions about our first rehearsal, please email.
